Cliff Diving World Series event in Ireland

Russian cliff diver Artem Silchenko had a great weekend, picking up the win at the Cliff Diving World Series event in Ireland. Artem beat off fierce competition from the rest of the competitors, so secure a win in windy and less than ideal conditions.

This first ever stop on Irish soil at the Aran Islands’ most notorious “blowhole”, a shoreline window to subterranean caverns, decided the 2012 World Series kick-off winner Orlando Duque as the interim leader (610 points) with Englishman Gary Hunt second (510) and Artem Silchenko (500) completing the top of the leaderboard.
