Alexander Polli

Unbelievable wingsuit cave flight

This video is hard to credit. What a magnificent piece of precision flying and what magnificent guts the man has!

Alexander Polli wingsuit flys through a cave

I love one of the comments from a watcher of this video: “I’m surprised he got through the hole with the size of his enormous balls,” but so true, I am too – look at the size of the hole … and look at the speed he is moving at…

Polli gives us a bird’s eye view of earth

Alexander Polli is the original bird man. Here is a person who should have been born with wings, but as he wasn’t he is certainly making up for the oversight. What is extraordinary about the first video is that he jumped from a helicopter not from a stationary cliff. One would imagine that it was easier to make a tactical flight such as this with such a high degree of difficulty and extremely large margin for error from a stationary object rather than a moving one – even if it is hovering in the sky. He reaches speeds of 250 km/h (155 mph) while following a precise trajectory leading to the cave opening, he then fully commits and flies directly through the narrow opening of the “Batman Cave”.

He makes it all look so easy…

It is a superb demonstration of the art of wingsuit flying.
